The 23 questions people actually ask, answered with the numbers the app actually uses. If something here is unclear, that is a bug in this page rather than in you — the support page says how to get a reply within two business days.

Plans and billing

What you pay, what you get, and how to leave.

What do I get for free?

Three accounts, six months of history, and every multi-currency feature — importing, transfers, the eleven currencies, charts, export and the monthly email. The free plan is meant to be genuinely usable, not a demo that runs out.

What does Pro add?

No account cap, your full history with no six-month window, and savings goals. Pro is RM19 or S$6.90 per month, or RM179 / S$69 per year. The multi-currency features are never gated — they are the reason to use this instead of a single-currency app, so putting them behind a paywall would break the product rather than sell it.

Why is the free limit three accounts, and can I have more?

Three is deliberate: it is exactly the Malaysia–Singapore setup — one MYR account, one SGD account and one investment account. Pro removes the cap entirely. If you need four on the free plan, you need Pro.

How do I cancel?

Settings → Billing → Manage billing. Cancelling keeps your data and leaves you on the free plan at the end of the period you have already paid for. You are asked why you are leaving, and the honest answer is genuinely useful — it is read, every time.

Will you raise my price later?

No. The price an account signs up at is recorded and locked, and it is never raised for that account — even if the public price increases, and even if you cancel and come back. This is a promise the code enforces, not a policy page: the locked price is stored on the subscription itself.

What is your refund policy?

There is a 14-day no-questions refund. Chargebacks cost far more than the refund, and a person who asks for their money back in the first two weeks was never going to be retained by arguing. Ask by email or from Settings → Support and the charge goes back to your card; the billing portal cancels a subscription but cannot refund, so a request sent there reaches nobody.

Multiple currencies

The reason this app exists. If something here is unclear, the explanation is the bug.

Which currencies can I use?

Eleven: MYR, SGD, USD, CNY, HKD, TWD, THB, IDR, VND, PHP and JPY. You can hold accounts in any of them and record spending in any of them.

Why does my total show two currencies instead of one number?

Because merging them would hide a rate. Adding RM1,000 to S$1,000 requires an exchange rate on a particular day, and the moment you show one number you have chosen that rate silently. Balances and spending are reported per currency. Where a single figure is shown — the all-accounts card — the rate used and its date are stated on the card.

Where do the exchange rates come from?

Key-less daily rate providers, normalised through USD and cached for six hours. If both providers fail, the app falls back to a bundled snapshot and labels the rates as stale rather than showing nothing. Rates are display-only: nothing is ever written back to your data, so re-opening the page later cannot change a figure you have already seen.

I sent money home. Why does it show as spending?

It will not, once the two halves are linked. Open the outgoing entry and use "Link transfer" — the app suggests the matching incoming entry, and the pair is then excluded from spending and income while still counting in your balances. If it still looks wrong, the two entries probably sit in different currencies with an unusual rate; the candidate list requires the implied rate to be plausible.

Balances and figures

What each number means, and why it may not match your bank.

Why does my balance differ from my bank?

An account balance here is the running total of entries you have recorded for that account — not your bank’s number. It differs for exactly three reasons: entries you have not recorded yet, a starting balance you never entered, and investment accounts, which use the latest valuation you logged rather than the contributions. If it is off by a round number, look for a missing opening balance first.

Why is "spending" different from the money that left my accounts?

Spending counts every outgoing entry, whether or not it belongs to an account. That means transfers between your own accounts, and money sent abroad, both look like spending until they are linked — which is what transfer linking is for. Account balances, meanwhile, count only entries tied to that account.

How do investment accounts get their value?

From the latest valuation you log, not from contributions. Log a valuation from the Investments page whenever you check the real number. The performance figure measures gain against the net contributions the ledger can see, so a valuation that is far from your actual contributions will make the growth rate look strange — that is a signal to log a fresh valuation, not a bug.

Why can I only see six months of history?

The free plan shows the last six months. Nothing is deleted — the older entries are still there and become visible again on Pro. The dashboard and the year in review both say when the window starts, so the cut-off is never mistaken for missing data.

Importing statements

Paste, CSV or PDF — one parser, and it warns rather than guesses.

How do I import a bank statement?

Transactions → Import, then paste the text, upload a CSV/TSV, or upload a PDF statement. You get a preview of every row it found, with duplicates already unticked, before anything is written. Nothing is saved until you confirm.

Can I import a PDF statement?

Yes, as long as it has a real text layer. A scanned image has no text to read, and the app says exactly that instead of reporting zero rows. Password-protected PDFs are supported — you are asked for the password, which is used in memory and never stored.

My import found zero rows. What went wrong?

Usually the layout: the parser reads an amount that sits beside its description, and a statement that puts the amount on the line *below* cannot be read. It reports that rather than guessing at numbers, because a silently mis-read statement corrupts a ledger you would then trust. Try pasting the text version instead, or email a redacted sample and support will look at it.

Why does it say a row is a duplicate?

Duplicates are matched on date, amount, direction and currency — not on the description, because banks reformat reference text between exports and that would make every re-import look new. It checks against both the file and your existing ledger, and re-checks on the server when you confirm, so a duplicate cannot slip in through a stale preview.

Data, privacy and leaving

Your data is yours, and getting it out does not require asking.

Can I export my data?

Yes, in full, as JSON or CSV, from Settings. The export is deliberately not behind Pro and not behind support — the privacy policy promises portability, and a gate on it would contradict the policy rather than describe it.

How do I delete my account and everything in it?

Settings → Danger zone, where you type DELETE to confirm. It is immediate, permanent, and cascades to your accounts, entries, goals and valuations. It cannot be undone by support either — that is the point of the confirmation, and the honest version of a delete button.

Who can see my transactions?

Only you. Row-level security ties every row to your user id at the database level, so a query from another account returns nothing rather than being filtered afterwards. No human reads customer data — not for support, not for analytics. There are no adverts and no data sales, and that is permanent rather than a current policy.

The monthly email

One message a month, and how to stop it.

What is the monthly email, and is it on the free plan?

A one-message summary of the previous month: what you spent, what you saved, and how the month compared. It is on every plan including free, because it is the only thing that brings a lapsed user back. One email a month, no marketing, and it is never a reason to upgrade.

How do I stop the monthly email?

One click on the unsubscribe link in the footer of any of those emails — it unsubscribes instantly and does not require signing in. You can also switch it off in Settings. Unsubscribing writes the preference rather than deleting it, so a later import or migration cannot silently re-subscribe you.

Still stuck?

The support form in Settings attaches your account, so you do not have to explain which plan you are on or which entry you mean. Email works too, and works even when you cannot sign in.
